For Technicians

How it works

Dispatch & RV Service Calls

  • We receive a call for an on-site RV service (maintenance or repair)….
  • We contact the nearest available Technician with availability (based on your calendar)
  • You may accept the service call or you decline the service call
  • If accepted, the dispatcher will work with the customer to schedule and will send you additional service call details
  • Your hourly rate begins once you arrive on-site and greet the customer.  You perform an on-site diagnostic of the problem or customer’s concerns and provide the customer with the estimated service/parts needed as well as the estimated total for the repair.
  • After the customer agrees to the anticipated work to be performed and the estimated total for the repair, you may begin working on the issue.
  • If a customer does not agree to the anticipated work to be performed and the estimated total for the repair, you may leave the site and report back to the dispatcher to close the invoice. You will be compensated the standard 65% rate (for dispatch & first hour) regardless of whether a customer chooses to move forward with the repair or not.
  • Once work is completed, you review the repairs made and any additional recommended maintenance or servicing tips with the customer.  You then confirm the repair invoice total (dispatch fee, total hourly sum, parts, misc. fees) with the customer and report that information back to the dispatcher for invoicing.
  • The customer will receive an email with a link to complete payment for the invoice online.  Our techs do not collect payment on-site.

How You Get Paid

  • You will receive a weekly report showing the total jobs completed and total due to you on each Thursday.
  • Technician payments are processed on Friday of each week for the service week prior.
  • Depending on your bank, you should receive your weekly payment in 1-3 business days.

Example:  Our minimum charge for a Standard Service Call (M-F | 8-5 local time) is $350.  This includes the dispatch fee of $200 for up to 25 miles and the technician’s first hour at $150/hr.  If you only took one Standard Service Call during a service week (Wed – Tues), your weekly report would include this one service call and would outline the 35% ($122.50) withheld for our services and the 65% ($227.50) due to you on the upcoming Friday.  Depending on the timing at your bank, you should receive payment for the previous service week’s call(s) within 1-3 business days.
